All I’m Sayin’ Is…🫦
Today wasn’t so bad.
Of course,
I thought about my son.
I thought about my grandsons,
my daughter,
and all my grandchildren.

They stay on my heart,
always.

It’s hard sometimes,
facing the truth
that life hasn’t gone
the way I imagined it would
with my children.

I always pictured us
as a forever
close-knit,
laughing family.

Loyal to one another
until the end.

I saw my
grandchildren running around,
filling the house with laughter.

I saw myself
cooking for everyone,
sharing life
with the love of my life.

All smiles,
all happy endings.

Riiight?

But here’s the thing
—I can’t really complain.

Because
I have had those moments.

I’ve shared
beautiful relationships
with all of my children.

I’ve shared
beautiful memories
with my love.

And while
I wish
they would’ve lasted forever,
they were still mine.

They were real.

They were beautiful.

Sometimes,
that’s enough.🌿
