Friday Nights

Momma
are a good time
—if—
I can find a good show
—or—
a good book.

That’s my little way of winding down.

Tonight,
it was Foundation.

And let me just say…
I was really disappointed in this season.

I mean,
I stuck with it,
I tried to get into it,
—but—
it just didn’t land for me.

Now
I know for sure
If I want to get
A good jest
of the whole dynamic
for the storyline
I’m going to have to read the novels
that the series is based on,
because
—maybe—
the original work
will give me
what this season didn’t.

I don’t want to give
away anything
for those who still plan to watch,
but honestly?

I wasn’t happy with much of anything at all.

Hopefully
they don’t make us
wait forever
for season four
like they made us wait this time,
because… 🤦🏾‍♀️

All I’m sayin’ is…🫦
Friday Nights
should
leave you feeling satisfied,
not searching
for something more.
