Woke up this morning
with a literal pain
in my side
— and before
anybody starts diagnosing me,
let me just
say it straight,
Scrappy is the culprit.
That dog sleeps
like he’s wrestling cats
in his dreams. 🤣🤷🏾♀️
I don’t know
why he insists
on climbing in my bed
just to twist me up
like a pretzel
by 3 a.m.
So yes…
I’m stretching
extra long
this morning
just to feel normal again.
I’m taking
a little break
right now,
before my workout
and office work,
and honestly?
I’m feeling kind of proud today.
These workouts have been showing out.
JUST 10 WORKOUTS, PEOPLE.
Ten.
And you will
see a difference
in your body
if you stick with it.
Hang in there!
I’m going to start
sharing some of the
things I’m learning
along the way
because this consistency
is doing something for me
— inside and out.
Anyway…
let me get to it.
I want to listen
to The Catcher in the Rye today
while I handle business.
I haven’t read it
since I was a girl,
but now
I’ve got it on
Audible and Kindle.
So yeah…
I’ll let y’all know
what I think of it
at this ripe old age
when I’m done.
